Golden Jackets Poland ("we", "community") values the privacy of its members and visitors. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

1. Data We Collect

When you register with the community, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• City and voivodeship
• LinkedIn profile URL
• Profile photo (uploaded by you)
• Certification date

2. How We Use Your Data

• Display your member card on the public community website (name, photo, city, LinkedIn)
• Create your Members Lounge access account
• Send community communications (events, news)
• Compile community statistics (number of members, voivodeships represented)

3. Legal Basis

The processing of your data is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), provided at the time of registration through the application form.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is visible only:

• On the public community website (name, photo, city, LinkedIn)
• In the open source project repository on GitHub (same scope as above)

5. Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS):

• Amazon S3 (website and photos) — encryption at rest
• Amazon Cognito (authentication) — encrypted passwords
• Amazon CloudFront (distribution) — mandatory HTTPS

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.

6. Your Rights (Art. 15-22 GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access: know what data we hold about you
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: request removal of your data and card from the website
• Withdraw consent: revoke your authorization at any time
• Portability: receive your data in a structured format
• Object: object to processing of your data

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you are an active member of the community. Upon requesting deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Our website does not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics. We only use local storage (sessionStorage) to maintain your session in the Members Lounge.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to members by email or through the community group.
